Come and join us on a camping weekend at the Crookwell showgrounds  with local and visiting campfire cooks and home brewers and others showing off their skills and talents in cooking, brewing, yarn spinning, bush poetry, music etc.

A feature of this year's event is a campfire cooking competition for individuals or teams to cook a two course meal with a main course plus damper/ bread/ scones (or similar).

All providers of camp cookout and home brew have free entry to the event.  Non cooking or homebrew participants will be charged an entry fee of $5-00 single and $10.00 per family.  Book now or pay on the day.

Bake and Brew Weekend

The Bake and Brew weekend will recreate the old aussie bush tradition of sitting around a campfire,  having a drink, telling a yarn (tall or true), reciting poetry, singing songs or just quietly enjoying the company of fellow campers.

The weekend will start at 3pm on Saturday 26 May with the lighting of a bonfire and the home brewer's bar will be open from then until late Saturday night.

Sunday morning's recovery session will include a “Poets Breakfast” with local and visiting poets strutting their stuff. A hot or cold breakfast will be supplied for a small  donation.
